Do I need life insurance if I already have it through work?
Work coverage is a great start, but it’s usually 1–2× your salary, it may not be enough to cover a mortgage and years of income, and it typically doesn’t follow you if you change jobs. A personal policy you own stays with you. We can review what you have — free — and tell you honestly if it’s enough.
What’s the difference between an IUL and a 401(k) or IRA?
They do different jobs. A 401(k)/IRA is a retirement savings/investment account. An IUL is a life insurance policy first — it provides a death benefit — with cash value that can grow based on an index and may be accessed tax-advantaged under current rules. Many families use both. We’ll explain how they can work together, including the costs and limits of each.
I’m a first-time buyer. Where do I actually start?
Start with a conversation, not a listing app. We’ll look at your budget comfort, credit picture, down-payment options (including assistance programs you may qualify for), and timeline — then connect the home search to a plan you can afford long-term.
Are annuities safe? Can I lose money?
Fixed and fixed indexed annuities are insurance contracts — guarantees are backed by the issuing insurance company and spelled out in the contract. They typically protect principal from market downturns but have surrender periods and caps/fees that affect growth. That’s exactly why we review the full contract details with you before any decision.
How much does a consultation cost?
Your first consultation is free. We’ll learn your goals, answer questions, and outline next steps. If we move forward together, we’ll be transparent about how we’re compensated for real estate or insurance services before you commit to anything.
Do you only work in Atlanta?
Our home base is Atlanta and surrounding areas across metro Atlanta. Reach out if you’re nearby or relocating here — we’re happy to talk through your situation.
